Ranger Doug spent much of his life climbing in the North Cascades doing many first ascents with noted climber Fred Beckey.  Being a contemporary park, I have designed this seven screen print to fit the history centered around both Fred and Jack Kerouac who spent 63 days at Desolation Peak lookout in 1956 inspiring two books:  Desolation Angels and The Dharma Bums.  Here either Fred or Jack (use your imagination!) are hailing to the party below slogging up the long switch-backs to Desolation Peak lookout with Mt. Hozomeen looming beyond and made more precipitous by Ross Lake far below.   Seven colors.

13 ½” X 19” serigraph print.

Please note, for posters, the specified dimensions are the actual image dimensions (the border size varies with each edition.) We recommend waiting until you receive your poster before ordering frames.
